Hi! Welcome to our new website which is an extension of our family owned shop at Greenslopes in Brisbane. We are mother and daughter, Jo and Beth Le Pla and we run the shop together. We took over the ailing jewellery/gift shop in July 2004 and have spent the past two and a half years modernising and broadening our range and learning about the needs of our customers. Our goal has always been to offer good quality gifts and jewellery at an affordable price, and give our customers value for money. Our aim with our jewellery has also been to find pieces that are different to what you find in the mainstream jewellery stores and we now have people coming to our shop specifically looking for something different after being told about us by friends and family.

Because of our close proximity to Greenslopes Hospital we have found many of our customers are visitors to Brisbane while family members are having treatment at the hospital. They always comment on our great range and after several requests to supply special orders to them after they have returned home we decided to investigate ways to take our range to them, and also to those who like to research their shopping online. With the acceptance and popularity of online shopping growing in leaps and bounds it made sense that this was the course to take.

We are members of the Nationwide Jewellers buying group, which gives us access to approximately one hundred and thirty suppliers covering a wide range of products, styles and prices. This means we can often source products that we don’t normally carry ourselves and we are more than happy to try for you. We like to deal with Australian suppliers whenever possible and especially small family size businesses. Most of our silver jewellery comes from such suppliers. However we also have an excellent supplier based in Hong Kong and Los Angeles who supplies us with our jade and a lot of our pearl pieces. We are also stockists of the beautiful Marcasite and More range of marcasite jewellery from England.

For our local customers we have an excellent jeweller who does our repair work and also makes up pieces to order. We change batteries and pressure test water resistant watches (up to 100M) at Greenslopes and have excellent watch/clock repairers who carry out other repairs including servicing older clocks and watches.
